Add a place or fix an entry

This is the way to put a club, a bar evening, a park session, a class or a tournament series into the guide, and the way to set right a line that is wrong or has gone stale. Club officers, players and neighbours are equally welcome. What makes a change possible is a link that can be opened: the club's page, a calendar entry, a council notice, a dated post.

Cards are not edited one at a time. Messages are kept and gone through together at the next refresh of the guide, and whatever changes is dated in the log. You get an answer only if your message asks for one.

What is your message about?
Concrete details work: weekday and hours, the address, who organises it, whether visitors may join.
Paste a link: a club page, a calendar entry, a council notice, a federation list, a dated post. Without a source a card stays as it is.
Whatever name you go by. It stays with the message and is never shown on the site.
A phone number or a messaging handle, in case email does not suit you.

Give one way to reach you, at least. It is used only when your message asks for an answer.

How your message is stored and used is explained under your data.

After you press send

  • The message is saved exactly as written; nothing is done with it straight away.
  • When the guide is next refreshed, the saved messages are read side by side with the pages they link to.
  • An entry is changed only if a page that can be opened backs the change, and the change is dated in the log.
  • An answer goes out only where the message asked for one and gave a contact.
