Blitz tournaments around Madrid 9

Blitz around Madrid often leaves the club room. An end-of-month tournament is played at the Xanadú shopping centre in Arroyomolinos, the Torre de Éboli club uses a shopping centre in Pinto, and the Amigos del Retiro meet at the Cabaña del Retiro. Five minutes with a three-second increment is the control that keeps recurring in the announcements.

Among the club series, Diagonal Alcorcón's Slowblitz comes round about monthly, Ajedrez con Cabeza has put an Armageddon tournament on its programme, and V Centenario in San Sebastián de los Reyes and the Tres Cantos club include blitz in their yearly calendars. Aranjuez and Tielmes have blitz tournaments of their own. Read the announcement for how to enter; fields can be capped, so do not count on a place at the door.
