What the status rests on

The club is in the Segunda division of the Madrid chess federation (FMA) team league for 2026/2027. The federation's venue list for that season has no entry for it, so the federation publishes no address for the club. Chess-results.com names "Club Ajedrez Algete" as organiser of the "Torneo Celebración Fin de Liga" (15 March 2026) and "Club Ajedrez Algete 2008" as organiser of the municipal tournament of Algete of 22 February 2025 (under-8 to under-12 categories), played at the street corner given here as the address; that is a tournament venue, not a stated club seat. The FIDE rated-tournament list also shows a "Campeonato Individual Algete 2025" (October-November 2025). The link to the league entry "ALGETE" rests on the name.
