What the status rests on

The club is in the Preferente division of the Madrid chess federation (FMA) team league for 2026/2027. The federation's venue list for that season has no entry for it, so the federation publishes no address for the club. The Madrid tournament calendar (ajedrezenmadrid.com) lists "43. Torneo Abierto Internacional de Collado Villalba 2026" (21 August 2026 to 29 August 2026), organised by Club de Ajedrez Collado Villalba, at Salón El Capricho. Pl. Cuatro Caños, s/n, Collado Villalba.
