What the status rests on

Only the 2024 edition was found (ChessBase, 11 June 2024; played 10-15 June 2024: two ten-player closed tournaments and a nine-round Swiss open). No 2025 or 2026 edition appears in the Madrid tournament calendar (ajedrezenmadrid.com) or in the FIDE rated-tournament list for Spain, and a web search for 2026 returned only the 2024 edition.
